Synthetic Biology Open Language Visual (SBOL Visual) is an open-source graphical notation that uses schematic “glyphs” to specify genetic parts, devices, modules, and systems.
To propose a new glyph, first read the “How to Propose” document in the Proposed Glyphs folder of the SBOL Visual Workspace. Then request permission to edit the Workspace via an e-mail to the sbol-editors that includes your name and a short description of your background.
